The World Tango festival, can be described as “everything relating to tango.” Buenos Aires is in fact the home of the Tango, and this 8-day tour offers the amazing opportunity to live and breathe Tango, or hone your dancing skills, in some of the world’s best Tango salons.
Born during the 19th century in the brothels and working-class districts of the city – particularly in the neighbourhood of Montserrat – Tango spread among the working-class slums, Black population and European migrants, and became popular throughout society.
Today, Tango is still seen as the height of a dancer’s way to express themselves. You’ll have the chance to experience the Buenos Aires Milongas Night in a place where the Tango is an integrated way of life.
As well as exploring the wonder world of Tango, travellers have the opportunity to explore a South American city that truly boasts a heady mix of history, cuisine and the finer side of life.
