Tango Holiday in Rethymnon, Crete

Join us for a mini-holiday: relax in beautiful surroundings, improve your tango, get to know like-minded people and have wonderful dances with tangueros from all over Crete.  

Classes will be with Frances Pace and Manolis Tsagkarakis.  Frances has taught tango throughout the UK and abroad.  She has a reputation for giving people the confidence to progress and enjoy their dancing, as well as focussing on in-depth technique to develop elegance, connection and musicality.  Our host in Crete will be Manolis Tsagkarakis, a wonderful dancer, teacher, and festival organiser, who'll make us very welcome.

Costs

Tuition: 10 hours of classes, a practica and three milongas all for £100.

Accommodation:  We’d like to make it affordable for everyone and give you choice about the type of accommodation you'd like, so we'll recommend different options for you to choose from - close to each other so we can socialise together.  Prices range from £25-£70 per night.

Itinery

We’ll stay one night in the main city, Heraklion, before travelling to Rethymnon on Thursday morning.  The plan is to have lunch by the beach in the beautiful fishing village of Bali, then on to Rethymnon for a tango workshop, dinner and practica.  On Friday, Saturday and Sunday there’ll be tango workshops, the option of private classes with Frances Pace / Manolis Tsagkarakis, plus time to relax and explore.  For the weekend classes and the three milongas we’ll be joined by dancers from across Crete.  We’ll travel back to Heraklion on Monday morning for the flight home (unless you’d like to extend your stay...).

To reserve your place on the trip you just need to pay for the tuition - £100.  You can go ahead and book your flights directly with Easyjet.  We’ll give you our recommendations for accommodation so you can choose and book these directly with the hotel.  If you’d like to share a twin room, just tell me and I can put you in touch with other people on the trip.
